Roland Martin took to Twitter to call out Floyd Mayweather about referencing his jail sentence in a Tweet directed at Manny Pacquiao (Mayweather was charged with abusing his girlfriend).  According to some, Martin's mention of Mayweather's domestic violence charge was out of line.  Others applaud him for encouraging discussion about such an important topic.

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith were all African American women could talk about when it was (incorrectly) reported that they were separating.  Once the announcement was made that their marriage was "in tact".  Bloggers, reporters and cultural critics started to weigh in on our obsession with Will & Jada. 

We also discussed the recent Nivea advertisement in Esquire magazine that caused such a major uproar in the African American community that they were forced to discontinue the ad and apologize for being racially insensitive.
